This is the Religious Studies Department website for Sion School in Worthing. You are welcome to have a look and use things on here for educational purposes, but please first get in touch to let me know if you do.
All the latest homework/news updates are posted on the bottom left hand side of this page using twitter.
Below are a couple of films made fairly recently that will give a sense of what we aim for as a school. Enjoy!

When three students met Amrik Singh, the Sikh Chaplain at Heathrow Airport. The trip eventually led them to experience food and worship in a Gurdwara, or Sikh Temple.
Sight impaired and blind people have a completely different experience of the world around them. This short film explores something of their experience by playing a practice match with the Brighton and Hove City Goalball Team at Lewes Leisure Centre in 2008.

Worldviews?
Not everyone is religious, but everyone has beliefs.
Your beliefs include things like:
*what you live for
*what happens when you die
*what we are (or where we came from)
*what is true about God
When you put these things together, you get an idea of someone's worldview.
A worldview is how you view the world (get it?).
Hopefully now you can see that it is much more than simply a religious education website...
